Lauren’s Top 10 Times Our Team Had Tons of Fun

Part of my job as the culture ambassador is to plan meaningful team-building events where we all come together to simply have fun, give back through volunteering or take time to eat lunch at monthly potlucks. So, naturally, for my 10th anniversary social media takeover, I had to go with the top 10 times we had a ton of fun as a team! Here we go…

  1. One of the earliest fun team events we planned – a trip to Jerry’s Snow Cones. This was also Daniel’s last day with us, but we still had a blast as we always do. #funteam #cultureJerry'sSnowCones
  2. Our “Souper Bowl” potluck in 2015 – we had some seriously delicious soup recipes that day! #potluck #ourteamrocks

  3. Walking dogs for Street Dog Foundation – I LOVE dogs. All dogs. So, that was a really fun Off the Rock for me. We also walked dogs at the Humane Society a few years ago, and that was equally amazing. #mustlovedogs

  4. Bowling at Bass Pro Shop – this fun team event was pretty special and hilarious because our intern at the time, Scovia, had never been bowling in her life! #funteamhitBowlingAtBassPro
  5. Pouring brews at Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival – we enjoyed volunteering at one of Memphis’ favorite springtime events, all to benefit the children and families of Porter-Leath. #RajunCajunMemphis
  6. That time we went to SkyZone, jammed a finger, nearly broke our necks, dove into a foam pit and purposefully got eliminated from the dodge ball game (me!). That was a great fun team event! #flyinghigh #funteam
  7. Volunteering at the Memphis Habitat ReStore – who knew sorting could be so much fun? We can make anything fun. #OffTheRock

  8. Our brunch potluck – who doesn’t love brunch? #brunch #potluckBrunchPotluck
  9. OK, one more for Porter-Leath – we love to shop for Porter-Leath’s annual Toy Truck! #OffTheRock
  10. We may have been sweaty, but our Memphis Redbirds fun team was off the charts! #funteam
