Rebecca Winchester

A born and raised Memphian, Rebecca’s passion for the 901 and all the incredible things happening in our city runs deep. She entered the world of public relations in 2022 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in English on the creative writing track and a minor in film and media at Rhodes College. Her time at Rhodes was full of incredible opportunities, including internships at The Orpheum, Theatre Memphis, Precept Wine Companies and Shelby Farms. Rebecca served in many capacities and leadership roles on campus and was one of six students in her class inducted into the Rhodes College Hall of Fame.

After graduation, Rebecca served as the public relations and communications specialist at the Memphis Zoo until 2025. In this role, Rebecca handled internal and external communications, media relations, crises and more. Rebecca also created a program called Wild Warriors that provided behind-the-scenes tours to patients at St. Jude.

Rebecca takes pride in creating meaningful relationships with those in the city of Memphis and beyond. Outside of work, she enjoys participating in the thriving Memphis theater community, watching scary movies, going to concerts and hanging out with her friends in Midtown on the weekends.
