Caroline Gillard
Account Manager
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Caroline has dual citizenship with Canada and the United States. Although raised just outside of Chicago, she returned to Halifax after high school to attend Mount Saint Vincent University. After two years, she transferred to Loyola University Chicago, where she graduated in 2014 with her bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising.
In 2025, she joined Obsidian Public Relations as an account manager, bringing experience from her previous role with a major health care system in the Mid-South. She enjoys supporting both her clients and teammates through innovative strategies and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
With more than 10 years of experience in public relations across industries like health care, finance, tech, entertainment and event planning, Caroline has developed her own style of communication that’s both strategic and creative. She’s always up for learning something new and loves bringing a fresh, thoughtful perspective to every project she’s involved with.
Outside of work, Caroline shares her home with three pet ducks and three cats. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, kickboxing and spending time with her animals.
