Peyton Welch

Peyton is a born-and-raised Tennessean, with her hometown being Franklin, Tennessee. In school, she always had a passion for writing and knew she wanted to work in a field that would allow her to express her creativity. That’s why she chose to pursue a degree in communication with a concentration in public relations from Mississippi State University.

During her time at Mississippi State, she completed a communication internship working for a boutique and interior design business. Peyton also completed freelance work with a law firm and other nonprofits. She enjoys helping organizations develop innovative ways to tell their stories.

At Obsidian, Peyton works with clients in a variety of industries. She particularly enjoys working with restaurants, and excels in crafting social media calendars, writing newsletters and designing print materials. 

In her free time, you can find her cheering on the MSU Bulldogs, attending Grizzlies games with her husband, Austin, trying out new restaurants around town or reading thriller books.
