Carlee developed a passion for writing as a child and could most often be found head down in a book or taking pen to paper (or fingers to her grandfather’s typewriter) to craft stories or poems. This love for storytelling led her to pursue a career in communications at Arkansas State University and eventually afforded her the opportunity to enter the face-paced world of public relations.
After beginning her journey as an intern at Obsidian in 2017, Carlee joined the firm full time in 2018. With experience in a variety of industries, including education, nonprofits, restaurants, music, legal and professional services, she strives to tell client stories in a way that effectively communicates their message and best reaches target audiences.
Growing up in the greater Memphis Area, Carlee’s love for the Bluff City has grown with her. This midtowner loves cheering on the Grizzlies, trying out the newest restaurants and exploring all that Memphis has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog June, reading a good book and seeing her favorite bands live in concert.
