Mary-Carter Mullins

Account Assistant

MC moved to Germantown when she was 4 years old from central Arkansas, and enjoys strong family ties to Alabama, as well. She graduated from Houston High School and went on to pursue her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in classical language at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Both the Volunteers and Knoxville hold a dear place in her heart.

During her time at UT, MC pursued several different majors but finally decided that she loved how communications combined several academic disciplines. Her decision was strengthened through several internship opportunities, including a stint at Disney World. After a great experience running the communications for her college organization, MC confirmed her desire to pursue a career in the mass communications field. This led her to pursue a master’s degree from the University of Memphis in journalism and strategic media.

MC has loved the world of public relations so far and cannot wait to learn more during her time at Obsidian.

During her free time, MC loves to shop for vinyl records, draw or hangout with her dog, Roosevelt. Fun fact: MC and her dog are both Taureses and enjoy having a joint birthday party every year.
