Erin Bauman

Level 1 Intern

Erin grew up in a small coastal town in southeastern Connecticut. From a young age, her passion for helping others determined what she pursued. Her high school years consisted of playing team sports sports like soccer, lacrosse and basketball. After graduating from East Lyme High School in 2019, Erin headed to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studies strategic communications. As a rising junior at CU, Erin is working toward her degree emphasis in PR and a minor in creative technology and design.

While at CU, Erin became involved in the PRSSA chapter. She was elected the director of special events for her chapter during her sophomore year and was re-elected for her junior year. Working with fellow PR students on the board has made Erin more excited about working for a PR firm in the future.

Not only does Erin have a passion for PR, but also for design. She has had the opportunity to take many classes within design and has enjoyed getting to use her creative side along with her business skills.

Outside of school, Erin loves to spend time with friends and family. She explores the beautiful sights that Colorado has to offer, listens to music, attends concerts, travels and volunteers. While at CU, Erin hopes to study abroad and experience different cultures and lifestyles around the world.

Erin is excited to learn more about the PR industry and gain more experience during her time at Obsidian!
